In the modern world the state can not exist in isolation. Between them is a diverse connections and relationships (economic, military, financial, humanitarian, etc.). With the purpose of regulating interstate relations created international organizations . In the world today there are thousands of them. Its function international organizations are divided into general political (UN, NAM, European Union, CIS) and special designed to solve specific problems:

military (NATO ANZYUS);

Economics (ASEAN, WTO, OPEC, OECD, NAFTA);

financial (IBRD, IMF);

intellectual and analytic (the Club of Rome).

Some international organizations are global, others - regional.

most influential international organization is the United Nations - global general political organization, established in 1945 to support and strengthen international peace, security and development cooperation between the countries.

main UN bodies: General Assembly, Security Council, Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the International Court. UN special bodies on specific issues is the UNESCO, FAO, WHO.

regional organization formed by groups of specific regions of the world, united to various tasks based on common interests.

Ukraine, as a reputable European country is member of several influential international organizations and aims at full integration into Euro-Atlantic structures (EU, NATO).
